Solomone Momoivalu
First Secretary

First Secretary Solomone Momoivalu assumed his assignment at the Fiji Embassy in UAE on 16th August, 2015. Prior to taking charge of his responsibilities in Abu Dhabi, FS Momoivalu was the Acting Principal Assistant Secretary of the UN Treaties Bureau at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Fiji. Mr. Momoivalu holds a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Affairs and a Bachelor of Commerce from University of the South Pacific. He has also undertaken diplomatic training as an international participant in graduate training in Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Moscow. He is married with one son.  

Sarika Lata
Second Secretary

Mrs. Sarika Lata has a range of diplomatic duties and is in charge of overseeing the Administration and Finance of the Embassy. She has thirteen years of working experience with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Fiji and Diploma in Business Management from the Fiji Institute of Technology (FIT) now known as Fiji National University (FNU). She has also attended few short courses in diplomacy.

Dana Almasoud
Executive Assistant

Ms Almasoud joined the Embassy on the 14th of December, 2014. She graduated from Paris-Sorbonne University, Abu Dhabi with a Degree in Applied Foreign Languages. She has previous work experience with some other Embassies.She is responsible for the Ambassador's office, travel, appointments and any other associated work for the Ambassador. She is also the Embassy's Official translator.

Khaled Hussain
Ambassador’s Chauffeur

Mr. Hussain joined the Embassy on 1st December 2012. He is the Chauffeur to the Ambassador and responsible for the general up keep of both the official vehicles and doing errands.
